Mary Baca

Mary Ursela Baca, age 97, peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, November 26th, 2021. Mary was born to Juan and Eufelia (Chavez) Vigil in Torreon, NM on October 21, 1924. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling and friend. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, watching football, cooking, fishing and loved to be around and visit with family and friends. Mary was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church since 1946.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lamberto Baca, her daughter, Eileen Vivian and her grandson, Steven Baca. She is survived by her sons; John Baca and wife Eileen and Jim Baca, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 9:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church.
