Maria Montano

Montano , Maria  Guadalupe
Age 84, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was born in Tecolotito, NM on December 16, 1935.  Her career was a food specialist. Maria was so beloved by everyone that came in her grace. She was a devoted Catholic and shared her faith with her family. Maria was kind, loving and cherished her late husband, Jose and her entire family. She enjoyed making us laugh. She enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Montano; parents, Demetrio and Maria Carrillo, grandson, Jose Jinzo.
Maria is survived by her children, Sam Montano and wife, Elvira, Lupe Emanuel and husband, Darren, Alejandro Montano and wife, Lori, Marie Olivarez and husband, Ed, Henry Montano and wife, Lorraine, Jennifer Hoskins and husband, Jack; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; siblings, Corina Tenorio and Carmen Gonzales.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels, 624 8th Street SW. COVID 19 restrictions will apply, please wear a mask when attending services.  A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 9:00 am at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus, 3424 4th Street NW.  Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be DJ, Ed, Carlos, Emilio, Gabriel and Charlie.
