Lucille G. Zachary left us to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2020. She was born in Belen, NM on December 16, 1931 to Ramon Sanchez and Ramona Marquez Sanchez. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Zachary, of 62 years; her brother-in-law Fred Sanchez, her children and their spouses, daughters, Roberta Zachary (David Johnson), Judy Zachary-Flores (Richard Flores) and Lorie Zachary (Dean Baas); son Russell Zachary as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Ramona Sanchez; son Charles E Zachary; grand-daughter Lucille Marie Zachary and grandson Charles Zachary Jr.; brother, Oswald Sanchez and sister-in-law, Minnie, sisters Carmen Montoya and brother-in-law Fidel, Eva Sanchez and Stella Sanchez.

Her love and devotion to her loving husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren knew no bounds but we take strength in knowing that she is still watching over us from heaven.

Viewing and Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM until the start of the Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 2 at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, on the corner of 8th and Iron SW, Albuquerque, NM. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal St. SW, Albuquerque, NM. Following the Mass, Interment will be held at 1:30 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aarin Buskirk, Andrew Thomas, Russell D Zachary, Genevieve Buskirk, Amanda Youngblood and Chanel Atkinson.
