Age 95, passed away Sunday, February 09, 2020. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on November 27, 1924. Josephine loved music, especially rancheras, dancing, cooking, and absolutely loved taking care of children. In addition to her two children, she raised her two granddaughters and took care of her grandson, her great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. She loved animals and treated her dog, Pepper, like her own child.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Armijo; daughter, Ramona "Mona" and other family members.
Josephine is survived by her son, Johnny; (grand) daughters, Christina "Tina" and Julianna; grandson, Patrick "PJ", great-grandson Stephen "Stevie", her brother, Julian "Lolo" Hernandez, several in-laws, nieces and nephews, and other family members.
A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 9:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW
A Mass will be follow immediately after the rosary at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
