David West

West, David Stephon II
Dave Stephon West II, died on February 7, 2022 in his home in Albuquerque. Dave was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Dave S. West and Zelia G. West on November 20, 1952.
Dave is survived by his daughter, Nicole Hicks, son in law, Shawn Hicks and grandson Nicolas Hicks. Two sons, David S West and Everett A West. Along with two sisters, Dora Cothern, Patricia Painter and many nieces and nephews.
Dave leaves behind a legacy of serving his country and his community. After completing high school Dave enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his enlistment Dave returned to New Mexico and proceeded to serve his community by working for the Bernalillo County Sherriff's department. Upon retiring from the sheriff’s department he did so with many honors and achievements.
