Cuaron, Viola "Asucena"

Age 91, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 26, 1931. Viola was born and raised in Albuquerque. She met her beloved husband, Patricio Cuaron and they married in 1948. She worked to help support her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and soon to be great great grandmother. She loved the casino, concerts, cooking and taking care of her family. Viola loved to dance at gatherings and have fun with her family. Until we meet again.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patricio Cuaron; parents, Juan and Lupe Chavez; daughter, Evelyn Barela.

Viola is survived by her children, Gilbert Cuaron and wife, Jeanne, Danny Cuaron and wife, Rose, Nancy Garcia and husband, Joseph, Annette Gabaldon and husband, Ron; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter on the way.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 6:30 pm at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 10:00 am also at Church of the Ascension. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.garciamortuary.com
