Teresa Grado Cordova

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, Teresa Grado Cordova, who departed this life on June 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Teresa was a woman of incredible warmth, strength, and generosity. Known for her heart of gold, she never hesitated to give what she had to others. She had a remarkable way of making people feel valued and loved. Her unconditional love and quick forgiveness touched countless lives, and her radiant spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Grado and her partner Marcia Westbrook, and by her son Vincent Grado and his wife Christine Grado. Teresa was a proud and adoring grandmother to Eli and Julia Grado, who were the light of her life.

She also leaves behind her mother Simona Cordova; sister Veronica Cordova and her fiancé Louie Serna; brothers Randy Cordova and wife Lelia, Joe Cordova, and James Cordova and wife Mary. Teresa was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Cordova, and her brother Phillip Cordova. Phillip’s wife, Yolanda Montoya-Cordova, remains a loving part of the family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Teresa gave her all to her children and grandchildren. Her legacy of compassion, resilience, and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. 

Viewing will begin at 7:45 AM, followed by the rosary at 8:15 AM. 

The funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 AM with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.  

A reception will take place afterward at St. Anne’s parish hall.
