Went to be with his mother, Mary, father, Ruben Sr. and brother, Leo on September 20, 2016.
Ruben is survived by devoted and loving wife, Mary Helen Gomez; he will be greatly missed by his children, Leo Gomez and wife, Angela, Michael Gomez, Theresa Sanchez and husband, Ronald, Lisa Montero and husband, Ben; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; sisters that he loved, Theresa Martinez and husband, Fred, Sylvia Ortiz and husband, Art.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 30, 2016, 11:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW.
