Molly Lucille Garcia, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital while surrounded by her family. Molly was born on May 10, 1943 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, but spent her life in the South Valley of Albuquerque, in service of the elderly, her family and all whom she came into contact with. Molly shared her light as a caregiver and caretaker and ensured that there was no one around her that was ever in need of anything. Molly met the love of her life, Jeronimo Garcia, in 1970, whom she danced through life with and cherished his memory every day after his passing.

Throughout life’s changes and as her family grew, Molly, affectionately known as Grammy, was loved and admired by all that were part of her life and her greatest joy was being able to spend time with them. Molly had a heart of gold, strong love for her family and an amazing work ethic throughout her life. Molly is survived by her only son Gary and wife, Lorraine; grandkids, Jordan (Wayne), Sammy (Jackie), Jamie and Stevan; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Maison and Evan; brothers and sisters, Lupe, Dorothy, Arsilia, Viola, Luis, Santiago and Manuel; close family members, Connie, Arthur and Clarence.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 8:30 am followed by Mass at 9:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW. Interment to follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
