Torrez, Maria Dulcinea (Nea)
Torrez, Nea (Maria Dulcinea) passed to heaven March 9, 2016. She was born in Los Ojitos Montoya, NM on June 19, 1929. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Albuquerque. Nea volunteered for over 30 years at North Valley Senior Center. She loved being outside taking care of her yard and also dancing and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Leon and Dorotea Herrera; her husband of 55 years, Elizardo (Eddie); son, Eddie John; siblings, Jose Maria, Silverio, Maria, Moises, Emilio, Mage, Antonio, Epimenio and Esequiel.
She is survived by her children, George (Lily), David (Mary-Ann), Gloria (Daniel Garcia), Hope (David Ruiz); daughter in law, Adelina; grandchildren, Michael Flores, Lillian, Inez (Joel Mason), Annette, Samantha (Kurtiss Eddingfield), Amber,  Neo (Sonya), Paul, Joseph (Maria), Eddie-Jay (Trina), Julie (Joshua Morales), Patrick Garcia, Alicia Ruiz, Orlando Ruiz and Marco Torrez; great grandchildren, Dominic, Michael, Onyx, Jayde, Alexander, baby, Elizardo, Lucia, Lydon, Aviana, Kairi, Kiba, Stephanie, Gabriel, David, Pablo, Ernesto, Trinity, Isabella, Eddie-Jay, Noelle, Elijah, Alyssa; great great grandchild. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. "Praise the Lord!!!. Always -Nea."
A viewing will be on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. with the rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1860 Griegos, Rd. NW. A final viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. till 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday March 15, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
