Mendez, Maria Concepcion
Age 68, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022. Maria was born and raised in Ciudad Juarez, then married Sergio Mendez and moved to Albuquerque to raise her family. Maria was a very happy person that enjoyed singing and dancing. She was a devoted wife and mother. Maria loved her family and cared for many of her siblings, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed going out to attend gatherings and eating out. She especially loved spending time with her grandson. She will be greatly missed as she reunited with her love and her sons.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Mendez, Sergio Mendez husband, Sergio Mendez.
Maria is survived by her grandson, Robert Sergio Mendez; siblings, Margarita Bocanegra, Bernardino Aguirre and Lily Leal.
Visitation will be held  Friday August 5, 2022 3:00-5:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Family mass to follow at Holy family at 7:00 pm.  A final viewing will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022 from 8:00-10:00 am at Strong Thorne Mortuary. Méndez, María Concepción
A los 68 años, falleció el domingo 24 de julio de 2022. María nació y creció en Ciudad Juárez, luego se casó con Sergio Méndez y se mudó a Albuquerque para criar a su familia. María era una persona muy alegre que disfrutaba cantar y bailar. Fue una devota esposa y madre. María amaba a su familia.  Sobrinas y sobrinos. Le gustaba salir a asistir a reuniones. Le encantaba especialmente pasar tiempo con su nieto. La extrañaremos mucho cuando se reúna con su amor y sus hijos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus hijos, Robert Méndez, Sergio Méndez, y esposo Sergio Méndez.
A María le sobreviven su nieto, Robert Sergio Méndez; hermanos, Margarita Bocanegra, Bernardino Aguirre y Lily Leal.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 5 de agosto de 2022 de 3:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m., y se rezará un rosario a las 5:00 p. m. en Strong Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Una Misa Familiar a seguir en Sagrada Familia a las 7:00 pm. Se llevará a cabo una vista final el sábado 6 de agosto de 2022 de 8:00 a. m. a 10:00 a. m. en Strong Thorne Mortuary.
