Marcella Cordova, 84, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Marcella was born in Ponderosa, NM in 1931 to Fidel and Refufio Trujillo (Rivera).
She is survived by her children, Charles Atencio, Anna Rivera and husband, Ron of San Diego, CA, Alice Calvillo and husband, Michael, Carol Baca and husband, George of Raton, NM, Phillip, Patrick and wife, Allison, Anthony and wife, Linda of Espanola, and David of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Roger, Martha, Edwardo, Emma, Mike, Albert, Fidel, and Jerry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Cordova Jr; sons, Richard and Paul; daughter, Maureen Baca; brother, Manuel Trujillo; and sister, Lena Sanchez.
The family would like to thank everyone at Gentiva Hospice for all the love and care they showed Marcella and her family. A special thank you to Marcella's caregivers, Bernice and Valerie and nurses, Tania and Caroline, Pastor Norman and Isaac, the social worker.
