Manuel Abran Tenorio

Manuel Abran Tenorio passed away in his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 30, 2025. He was born on September 4,1948, in Pintada, New Mexico. Manuel was a happy grouch. He loved his family, the horse races, he was also a master mechanic and a pool shark.

He is preceded in death by his father Abran Tenorio, mother Christina Romero, four brothers and four sisters. Manuel is survived by his father Juan Romero, Patrick M. Tenorio, and Richard Tenorio, Johnny Joe Romero II and wife Carolyn Romero, Johanna Flores, Karen Garcia, Margret Romero and fiancee Pablo Torres, Tessie Romero-Jaramillo and husband Robert Jaramillo. Manuel had eight children: Angelina C. Pacheco and husband Toby Pacheco, Charlene Tenorio, Manuel J. Tenorio, Rose-Anna Connaughton and husband Michael Connaughton, Renee Chavez-Maes and husband Thomas Maes-Blea, Michael (Jose) Samuel, Shane (Tinó) Samuel, Brandon (Benny) Samuel, thirteen grandchildren: Amanda Duran and husband Joseph Duran Jr., Angelica Gallegos, DeAundra Pacheco, Marcella Laird Gronsky and husband Michael Laird Gronsky, Chloe Tenorio, Dominic Tenorio, Monique Chavez and wife Samantha Chavez, Stephen Baker and wife Andrea Baker, Bellarea Chavez-Urban, Savannah Jurardo, Aliyah Maes-Baker, Andrea Baker, Gohan Samuel and three great grandchildren: Judea Duran, Adriel Duran, Rayden Laird Gronsky and one godson: Joseph Garcia and wife Juanita Garcia.

A viewing will be held on May 14, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary~ Chapel of Angels located at 624 8th Street Southwest, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102. A rosary will be held the following day, May 15, 2025, at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church located at 811 Guaymas Place Northeast, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108, followed by mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow mass at Holy Family Catholic Mission Church Cemetery, located at 1990 Pintada Road, Santa Rosa, New Mexico 88435.
