Montoya, Louella Mae

Sadly, passed away at the age 74 on February 04, 2023. Loulou was born and raised in Albuquerque in the Barelas neighborhood. She raised her five children in Albuquerque. She was the most loving, giving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Margaret Montoya; brother, Lawrence Montoya and godson, Phillip Urioste.

Loulou is survived by her children, Ray Montoya and wife, Madeline, Tammy Pino, Edward Montoya and wife, Shannon, Barbara Costales and husband, Paul, Michael Montoya and wife, Amanda; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; siblings, Tony Montoya, Reyes Montoya and wife, Linda, Beatrice Purcella and husband, Martin; goddaughters, Jennifer Madrid, Susan Montoya, Donna Predika and many nieces and nephews.

Loulou loved our Lord and Savior and taught her children to share the same love and faith. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending countless hours in the kitchen cooking for her family. She was beautiful and strong and faced many challenges with love and grace. She was funny and loved to dance, sing and attend all the church fiestas with her children and grandchildren. Loulou loved sharing her childhood memories and loved all her family with all her heart. She loved to visit all her relatives sometimes all of them in one day. She had a passionate love for nutty bars and being around all her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren this truly brought her the most joy. She is loved and will be missed by us all. You will forever be in our hearts.
