Lopez, Leroy

Age 78 from Sierra Vista, Arizona, formerly of Albuquerque and Chamisal, New Mexico passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018. He was born in Chamisal, NM on May 9, 1940, to Jose Paz Lopez, Sr. and Leonarda Lopez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his only son, Dwayne Lopez; sisters, Fabiola Dominguez her first husband, John King, her second husband, Benjamin Dominguez, Bertha Maestas and husband, Max, Minnie Vigil and husband, Alfonso; previous brothers in law. Flavio Gonzales, Benito Duran, Bill Arrant and Leroy Gonzales; his nephew who was raised as a brother, Jacob King and his first wife, Josie, Daniel Dominguez.

Leroy is survived by his current wife of 10 years, Valentina Lopez; first wife, Faby Lopez, the mother of his two daughters; daughters, Cindy McCormick and Karen Lopez and husband, Terrance Burton; four grandchildren, Clayton, Samantha, Dwayne and Charlie; three step children, Jesus, Alejandro and Rocio; eight step grandchildren; two brothers, Jose Paz Lopez, Jr. and wife, Eulogia, Paul Lopez and wife, Teresa; sisters, Betty Arrant, Rose Gonzales, Naomi Elizondo and husband, Juan, Bella Armijo and husband Valerio and a niece raised as a sister, Dorothy Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and current brothers and sisters in law.

A Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2018, 11:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels , Located on 8th Street and Iron, with a Service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque.
