Perea, Joe P.
Phil Joe Perea, of Albuquerque, NM and Taos for over forty years. Passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on February 23, 2018. Phil was a proud and hardworking mason an avid gospel singer/minister who will continue to spread the word of God with the angels in heaven. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio D. and Carolina Perea; brothers, Juanito Sr. and Olivero; sisters, Ernestina Gonzales, Mary Pena, Isabel Perea, Tillie Montoya and Mary Ann Torrez; granddaughter, Nadine Perea.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Perea; his children, Gary, Tammy Jason, Bruce Perea and wife Lucretia; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters, his twin sister Irene Perea, Ramona Trujillo, Frances P. Hammerly (Joe); brother Jesses Cano and mother of his four children Annabel Perea.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 ,at Garcia Mortuary- Chapel of Angels, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Followed by a Service at 11:00AM. Internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
