Isabel Nicolasa Gelsinger, lovingly known as "Abuela" and "Auntie Bell", passed away on Friday,
September 29th, 2023 at age 89. She was born in Maxwell, NM on September 11, 1934 to Severino and Maria Rosario LeDoux. Isabel was born into a large family with strong historical
ties to northern New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Severino and Maria Rosario LeDoux; her son,
Charles Gelsinger; her husband, Jesse Gelsinger; her siblings, Eugene Cardenas, Joe E. and
Gilbert LeDoux, Jennie Provencher, Lillian Gelsinger, Evangeline Lara, Severino LeDoux Jr.,
Louise Sanchez, and Cordelia Jaramillo.
Isabel is survived by her sister, Florence Moya.
Isabel was employed at TVI (now CNM) for many years prior to her retirement. She also served
as an usher for many years at St Edwins Parish. Isabel was an avid quilter, a dedicated reader,
and was passionate about her yard and flowerbeds. She loved connecting with her neighbors
and enjoyed sitting outside watching the traffic pass by.
