In Loving Memory of Hera Lilith Berndt April 7, 2025 – July 2, 2025

Dearest baby, please know that our greatest blessing was having you.

Heaven’s gain was our loss when our precious angel was called home to the Lord. Hera Lilith Berndt, beloved daughter of Odin and Angela Berndt, was born on April 7, 2025, and passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM.

In her brief time with us, Hera filled every moment with laughter and smiles, bringing immeasurable joy and warmth to all who met her. Though only with us for three months, her light and love left a lifetime of meaning. Her presence was a gift, her laughter a melody, and her smile a reflection of pure innocence and grace.

Hera’s memory will be cherished forever. Her absence leaves a space in our hearts that words cannot fill, but her spirit lives on in every breath we take and every beat of our hearts.

She is survived by her loving parents, Odin and Angela Berndt; her proud big brother, Helios Berndt; her great-grandmother, Maria Villalobos; grandparents Aurelia and Chris Brown, Carla Shafer, and Brandon Deloris; her uncle Osiris Deloris; her aunts Demeter Freeman and Hannah Berndt; her godparents, Martha McElyea and Alfonso Deocampo; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Though her time with us was brief, Hera brought a lifetime of love.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Garcia Mortuary-Chapel of Angels, 624 8th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, followed by Mass and a reception.
