Grace Waldrep

April 27, 1930 — January 13, 2024

Rio Rancho

Grace Waldrep, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on January13, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on April 27, 1930, in Dixon, NM to her parents Walter and Magdalena. Grace's life was a testament to kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love for her family.

Growing up on her father's ranch in Penasco, NM, Grace learned the values of hard work dedication. She helped her mother care for her siblings and worked alongside her father at his restaurant in Toas during her teenage years. It was during this time that she crossed paths with the love of her life, William Waldrep.

Grace and William met at her father's lumber plant and their connection was instantaneous. Their love story blossomed and they soon embarked on a journey together as husband and wife. Throughout their married life, they moved around the state of New Mexico before finally finding their forever home in Albuquerque. Grace dedicated herself to creating a loving household where love thrived.

As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Grace poured her heart into caring for those around her. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Her warmth and compassion knew no bounds. Her family was the center of her world; she took immense joy in supporting them through life's highs and lows.

During quieter moments, when she found time for herself amidst the chaos of family life, Grace indulged in watching soap operas. These were fleeting moments of relaxation that brought a smile to her face.

Grace will forever be remembered as a pillar of strength and wisdom within her family. Her unconditional love extended far beyond blood ties – countless friends found solace in her comforting presence. Her selflessness knew no limits; she would drop everything to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement.

She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by her surviving family and friends. Grace is survived by her children, William Jr., Jess, Josephine, Eileen, and Alfred They will hold onto the memories of her gentle smile, wise counsel, and loving embrace.

In honoring Grace's life, we celebrate the beautiful soul who touched so many with her kindness. Let us cherish the memories we shared with her and keep her spirit alive in our hearts. Grace Waldrep will forever be missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
