Grace Marie Chavez passed away peacefully Friday, September 23, 2016. She was born in Albuquerque, NM. She attended Sacred Heart School, St. Vincent's Academy and was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University. She worked for many years at Digital Corporation and recently retired from Social Security Administration Office. Grace was preceded in death by her loving parents, Beltran and Adelina Chavez and sister Evelyn Lujan.
She is survived by, Sandy Rendel; sisters Ciprianita Saavedra, Gladys Chavez, Rosemary Garcia, Henrietta Tenorio, Gerri Romero; brother, Beltran Chavez Jr. and a large extended family including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW.
Grace had many friends and made a lasting impression with all who knew her. Those who knew her and loved her will always have a special place in their heart for the wonderful person she exemplified.
