Gilbert Casados

Casados, Gilbert Richard
Age 89, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on November 18, 1931. Gilbert was an avid visitor of the casinos. He was also and entertainer, he played the guitar, piano and accordion, as well as singing. Gilbert also enjoyed going for rides and walks. Most importantly he was a devoted husband for 65 years and a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Maria Casaus and Maria Onofre Lucero; siblings, Bennie Casados and Stella Norkus.
Gilbert is survived by wife, Helen Casados; children, Linda Sue Romero and husband, Anthony, Richard Casados, Connie Goller and husband, Eric, Anna Casados; grandchild, Anthony Romero Jr. and wife, Kelly; great grandchild, Leia Belle Romero; siblings, David Casados and wife, Jennie, Virginia Samudo and Bessie Best.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm at Strong Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE.
