Frank Christopher Lopez Sr. a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, wonderful grandson and nephew, passed away and left this world too soon. He was also special to many countless cousins and friends. Those who knew Frank knew of his humor, love and devotion to his family and friends. He was a strict, loving man who taught his kids respect and love. He was a “fix it man” to so many and would drop anything to come help a person in need
He is survived by his wife, Denise Lopez; children, Desiree Lopez and partner, Andrea Maestas, Candice Sanchez and husband, Michael and Christopher Lopez; grandchildren, Abenicio, Estevan, Aryanah, Lilly and Daisy; mother, Julia Lopez; siblings, Ernie Lopez and wife, Lela, Margie Padilla and husband, Andrew, Paul Lopez and wife, Carla; grandmothers, Rose Lopez and Corrine Sandoval.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernie Lopez; grandfathers, Crecencio Lopez and Porfirio Sandoval; uncles, Christopher, John, Arthur, Michael, Rick and Frank Lopez.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose de Duranes Church, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church, 2005 N. Plaza NW. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Mario Collazo, Peter Chavez, Gabriel DeHoyos, Cruz “Gordo” Fraire, Gary Gomez, Andy Griner, Manuel Herrera, Ricardo Herrera, Carlos Lopez and Mark Valdez.
