Florencio Gallegos
Lencho “Uncle Jr” was born and raised in Martinez town on July 1, 1928 to Amalia Candelaria and Florencio Gallegos. He then located to California, where he resided for a long while. He and his wife Leonor Moved back to New Mexico where they enjoyed retirement together, Florencio proudly served his country in the U.S Army during his youth. Lencho was known for being a very friendly person, giving and loving. He enjoyed dancing, going to the casino and visiting the North valley senior center. He was the best at Pool!
He was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. His care and love will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Amalia Gallegos; his wife, Leonor Gallegos; brother and sisters, his daughter, Maria Aragon, and his grandson, Ruben Torres.
Florencio is survived by his children, Michael Gallegos, Ruben Gallegos, and Joey Gallegos; his grandchildren, Regina and Panfila Gallegos, followed by many other great grandchildren.
