Age 90, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019. She was born in Bernalillo, NM on June 29, 1929. Esther was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved sitting in her porch listening to her birds while she did her word search games. She was entertained by her game shows. She was an amazing cook, loved to dance and listen to music. This is not goodbye but until we meet again.

Esther is survived by her children, Adeline Hernandez, Denise Castillo, Ronald Gonzales,Barbara Gonzales; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Hunick, Betty Tafoya and Barbara Castillo.

A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, with celebrant Derek Vo, S.J. Inurnment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.garciamortuary.com
