Emma Romo

Romo, Emma Age 80, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was a part of the purple heart women's auxiliary and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ramon Talamantez and Pablo Romo; parents, Pablo and Aurelia Gonzales; siblings, Sila Hurtado, Felicitas Garcia and Paul Gonzales. Emma is survived by daughter, Martha Cortez and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Michelle Sena and Miranda Olivas and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Cathedral, 1001 Barelas Rd. SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
