Clara Rose Garcia

August 12, 1954 – July 18, 2025

Clara Rose Garcia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was 70 years old. 

Born on August 12, 1954, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Clara built a life centered around love, family, and unwavering devotion. She was a full-time mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most. 

Clara is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony Garcia; her daughters, Veronica and Antoinette; and her son-in-law, Frank. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shanice, Jowanda, Anthony, Lianna, Timothy, and Troy, and a cherished great-grandmother to Demitri, Zachariah, and Aurora.

 She is also survived by her sisters Joanne, Isabel, and Jenny; and her brother Robert, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her deeply. 

Clara will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and boundless love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Monday, August 11, 2025, at 9:30 am, a Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 309 Stove Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Mass to follow at 10:00 am. Inurnment will take place on August 12, 2025, at Farview Memorial Park, located at 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 at 10:00 am.
