Age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019. She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on July 30, 1933, to Jose and Julia Lugo. Carmen was a lifelong seamstress who loved to make dance costumes and loved to dance in her high heels with a broom throughout the house. She loved to cook and we loved her cooking. She loved playing with and being around her family and all her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fermin Baca; children, Jerry Baca, Ralph Baca, Ronnie Baca, Wilfred; grandchildren David Maestas and Ryan Andrew Maestas.
Carmen is survived by her children, Carmen Aida Maestas, Larry Baca and wife, Jeannie, Danny Baca and wife, Renye, Diana Chavez, Johnny Baca; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Lucas Lugo and wife Maria.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm followed by a prayer service at Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
