Bridget Helen Brink

Bridget Helen Brink was one of the eight children born June 7, 1933 to Everisto and Anna Perea in the Barelas Community of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bridget returned to the arms of our lord on August 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Bridget is survived her four great-grandchildren: Reign Romero, Isla Romero, Melody Romero, and Daniel Mauricio. Bridget also has five great-grandchildren from her extended family: Monet, Gabriel, Daniel, Valentina, and Angelica Chavez. Bridget is also survived by her three grandchildren: Jasmine Quintana, Molly Quintana, and Zoe Nieto. Bridget gave birth to three children: Benjamin Miramon, Becky Miramon, and Sandra Brink. Bridget is survived by siblings Theodore and wife Bennie, Micheal and his wife Evelyn, Marcella Saiz, and Kathy Brothers.

Bridget will be meeting other departed souls: Everisto and Anna Perea, Jesse and Anna Perea, Pete and Carmen Perea, Mary Kozlowski, Fred Miramon, Charles Brink, and Leandro Martinez.

Bridget had three loves in her lifetime: Fred Miramon whose union sired Benjamin and Becky Miramon, Charles Brink whose union sired Sandra Brink, Leandro "Lee" Martinez whose relationship allowed extended family members: Leigh Rose Griego and Norman Martinez to refer to her as "mom".

Bridget is currently awaiting cremation at Garcia Funeral Home. Once the paperwork is processed, she will be cremated. The date and time of the funeral mass as well as Bridget's Celebration of Life is to be determined.

Bridget spent all but seven years of her life living in the community of Barelas going to Washington Elementary School and Albuquerque High School.

Bridget requests that in liew of flowers that donations be made in her name to Boy's Town or St. Jude Hospital
