Becky Geraldine Padilla-Aguirre (age 71) a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, NM left us for her new home in Heaven on June 30, 2021. She was well known for her willingness to forgive, her amazing New Mexican cooking, and her fighting spirit.  She was an Albuquerque Bulldog, and lived most of her life a few houses away from Old Town Plaza. She was surrounded by her family at home when she took her last breath. She was preceded in death by son Lawrence Gerald Mendoza. She is survived by son Gilbert Apollo Mendoza and partner Theresa Padilla, daughter Sandy Angel Lopez-Dimas and husband Everett V. Dimas, daughter Edwina Rebecca Lemus and partner Eric Martinez, daughter Valentina Mendez and husband Andres Mendez, son Cesar Valente Padilla and wife Sonya Padilla. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren - Gilbert Joseph Mendoza Jr., Amanda Maxine Dimas, Everett Alexander Dimas Jr., Nicole Stella Monique Mendoza, Manual David Cadena, Deziree Angel Dimas, Cherish Estrellita Rivera, Elizabeth Reina Dimas, Shai-Aliyaha Torres,  Cesar G. Padilla, Elijah Israel Dimas, Monique Lucille Rebecca Padilla, Joseph Xavier Torres, Luna Mendez, Yelena Mendez. She was also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren: Noah Lawrence Dimas, Angel Gabriel Dimas-Montero, Raymond Mendoza, Joseph Mendoza, Angelica Susanna Mendoza, Evelyn Rose Gregory, Sophia MaryLee Cadena, Everett Jonathan Dimas III, Santiago David Dimas, Jacob Alexander Dimas.
We will be following her wishes to have a viewing for friends and loved ones on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Strong Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE.
