Montoya, Antonio Jose
Antonio (Tony) Jose Montoya was born October 11, 1933, he was called home August 9, 2022, where he was reunited with his wife Julie, his mom and dad Eduvijen, Antonio, his sister Tina, and brother Julian, as well as many others who went to prepare a place before him. He was the most loyal, hardworking, selfless, big-hearted man we were blessed to have in our lives. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in May of 1953 where I’m sure he had perfect attendance. I found a few awards, and everyone knows grandpa never missed work either. He enjoyed his work at the Hilton/La Posada from the age of 15 until he retired at the age of 84. It was there he met his true love Julie and the two of them were married January 27, 1973. He was always there when you needed him without a second thought. Tony is survived by his brother Licho Montoya and wife Susie, sister Dora Padilla and husband Ralph, brother-in-law Ralph Jaramillo, his kids Mike Molina, Tillie Worthen and husband Michael, Rita Garcia and wife Barbara. He had 7 grandkids 13 great grandkids and 8 great great grandkids. As well as many nephews and nieces who will miss him dearly. Reading this he would’ve said don’t forget the dogs, chickens, rabbits and goats. Rest easy grandpa no more pain you left an unmeasurable legacy of kindness and heart. You were the best grandpa and friend anyone could ever have. You are at home on Gods Ranch
