Annie Silva (née Anita Garcia) was born May 27, 1926 in Los Padillas, NM to Silvestre Garcia and Ignacita (Sanchez). Annie passed from this life on October 29th, 2015 with her loving family and friends at her side. Annie worked as a Harvey Girl at the famous Alvarado Hotel. She lived in Barelas all of her adult life and was active at Sacred Heart Parish. She sang in the choir and participated in Las Posadas for decades. She will be missed by all who were blessed by her legacy of grace, gratitude, and joy for life. The family would like to thank all who generously cared for her in the last few months of her life. She is survived by five children, Arthur Silva, Jr., Vicente Silva (wife Toni Silva-Dunbar), Theresa Alonzo (husband Robert Alonzo), Emily Silva-Rice (husband Greg Rice) and Julianna Silva (partner Damian Velasquez). She is also survived by eleven grandkids: Beth (husband Jason), Art (wife Diana), Marie, Rachel, Daniel, Theresa (husband Bobby), Marisa, Chari (husband Sergio), Robert, Rebecca and Alejandro; six great grandkids: Natalie, Eric, Jaxon, Naomi, Axel and Violet (who is on her way); many cousins including Charlotte Salas and family and many loving nieces and nephews, including Jerry Silva, Liz Gallegos, and Geno Silva.  She was preceded in death by husband Arthur (Golly) Silva and sister Ignacita (Nacha) Valdez. A Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with rosary to be recited at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels, 717 Stover Ave. SW on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 7:00 pm.  The funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW on Saturday at 10:30 am with burial to follow at Mt.
